The Honest Way Blog

Hi all,

The Honest Way Blog at the main website has been updated a few times since my last post here. My apologies, but time has been a little tight recently as I have a lot of things going on now.

I was pondering the idea of shutting down this blog to concentrate on the website's hosted blog. Not too sure that's a good idea, as this one's been up and running much longer and still has a big readership. So for the present time at lease, I'll keep this one going in parallel with the website blog.

The updates are there for you to see, so if you want to know what's been happening oiver there, click the link below and check it out!

Article Writing and Constant Content

I've put together quite a comprehensive blog report on the article submission site, Constant Content over at the home site's blog.

I don't want to duplicate that post here (because I don't like duplicated content), so if you are interested in writing articles to make an income online, it's is something that you should read.

Follow this link to go straight there: The Honest Way Blog, or go to The Honest Way website and click on "BLOG" in the menu bar.

Take some time to read it. It could change your life!

AWeber?

Welcome back! I've just finished setting up a free trial promo that those masters of the autoresponder, AWeber are pushing on their site's affiliate page. They give you the code to create a small opt-in box that goes straight to them (it doesn't count towards you list) but they then promote themselves to whoever fills in the form which gives you a better chance at an affiliate sign-up.

And there should be plenty of takers as all internet marketers need an autoresponder and AWeber are the best in the business! If you haven't set one up yet, take a look at AWeber and see for yourself.

Now, having given them the benefit of a nice plug, I'm going to give them a bit of a rollicking.

I'm picky when it comes to code and as I've built what I belive is a damn nice site in The Honest Way and I've spent time and effort to ensure all my code is xhtml 1.0 compliant. So I don't really appreciate third party code messing it up with things like nested tables. Yep, for all their high profile in the online world, AWeber are still giving out prehistoric html code for their opt-in forms that contain nested tables, repeating <font> tags and other nasties. Ugh!

So I had to spend time modifying their code to work with a <div> tag using css to create the style. But it's worth it as it looks better and the w3c people prefer clean html/xhtml.

End of rant.

The Honest Way News

The "other" Honest Way Blog is coming along nicely with it's second post pinged to all and sundry yesterday. The Honest Way Forum is also enjoying a good start in life as we now have 20 members at the last count and I predict that number to double by the end of the week. So if you haven't registered yet, now's the time if you still want to get in early.

That's all for today. Thanks for dropping by and having a look at what's happening here.

The Scaling Down

This new post is actually an announcement of the arrival of the all new Honest Way Blog.

It can be found living on The Honest Way server at http//www.thehonestway.com/blog/. I've posted its first instalment and will be making all the major posts regarding the website there instead of here.

Having said that, I haven't gone to all the trouble of promoting this blog only to let it fall by the wayside. Oh no.

I'll be posting here too in tandem with the live blog so as to keep up the link structure that I have been slowly building over the past few weeks. How I shall use this blog from now on will be more of a pointer to things happening over at The Honest Way and elaborating in more detail on the new blog.

So keep looking in here, because the content will be different to that on the new blog and I'll probably keep things separate and distinct, so there will be two different sources of information and content pertaining to the day to day life of The Honest Way.

Thanks for calling in and keeping up with events
Call back again soon, won't you!
